Granite Grok – Red Wave Press https://redwave.press We need more than a red wave. We need a red tsunami. In January 2023, I wrote about Pete Hegseth and his deep faith and concern for all children. In addition to his weekend duties at FOX as co-host of Fox & Friends, Pete has produced a series on the state of our education system and a couple of special features on Christ in his homeland.

These FOX Nation specials explore Pete Hegseth’s depth and how he digs into a subject, researches it, and delivers a program that anyone of any age can watch, understand, and enjoy. Unfortunately, I stopped that Sunday series because it was the least read article of any week. If I were to write one today, it would again be on Pete and his military career and his current best-seller, “The War on Warriors,” where he details how low our military has fallen under Biden and what he would do to even the international playing field and makes our forces second to none. Pete believes in power and peace through strength. I have been a fan of Pete Hegseth for years, and though it came as a surprise, I am thrilled that Donald Trump has tapped Pete as our country’s next Secretary of Defense.

There are many facets to this fascinating individual, who I see as the ultimate Patriot. Some make him an incredible person, while some qualify him to fill the role of Secretary of Defense. These qualities had put Hegseth on Trump’s radar since his first term when Trump was close to naming Pete to head up the VA. Now Trump wants Pete Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense. This nomination has made the Left apoplectic. The media and government officials on the Left have every right to object to the naming but not to the personal attacks, which have been obscene, even by the Left’s standards.

The attacks started rather mundane about him having an insignificant job as a weekend host of a morning show on FOX, or that he had little military experience and was therefore unqualified for the job. Obviously these people in haste did not do the research before spewing, or that did not matter. Then, they went after his character. One supposed expert on MSNBC went overboard in calling Hegseth a White Supremacist whose only goal was to cut off the path of advancement for Blacks in the military.

She had no proof, nor could she cite anything Hegseth had ever written, said or done. She was basing her comments strictly on his tattoos. Brilliant, yet why would MSNBC give her a platform unless they agreed? Then there were the unsubstantiated and anonymous claims that there was a secret sealed resolution to a sexual harassment case involving Hegseth. How could you make such a claim without facts or proof unless you were seeking a defamation suit? […]

Republicans Are Showing The Democrats What Joy Looks Like https://redwave.press/republicans-are-showing-the-democrats-what-joy-looks-like/ https://redwave.press/republicans-are-showing-the-democrats-what-joy-looks-like/#respond Sat, 09 Nov 2024 03:10:53 +0000 https://redwave.press/republicans-are-showing-the-democrats-what-joy-looks-like/ The sides have switched, and the Republicans, led by Donald J. Trump, are having a blast. I say they have been enjoying themselves since July. When Trump came millimeters from being a new verse along with Abraham, Martin, and John, the Right knew that there was a higher power watching over them. There is no other explanation for Trump turning his head and losing a piece of his ear and not his brain.

It was a scary moment for everyone except the Left, who looked at a lost opportunity. That is a bold accusation, but the facts point to more than incompetence in Pennsylvania; it is a conspiracy. No other explanation supports a total breakdown of the systems that protect the President and those who want his seat again. After beating death, every challenge seems insignificant, and all you are doing is focusing on the prize. Looking at the six hours Trump and Vance spent with Joe Rogan, you see the two men having a great time and basking in the moment. There would be no basking for Kamala and Tim.

On the other side, you see a total meltdown. Finger-pointing is a new team sport for the Democrats. Everybody but Joe is blaming somebody. Many are blaming him. Joe showed anger and vindictiveness in the last few weeks, as he was obviously laying land mines before Kamala’s path. Nobody wants to look in the mirror and take the fall. They all think they have a future. They are wrong.

Joe Biden took to the microphone in the Rose Garden on Thursday and acknowledged a Harris loss and Trump’s win. He had a new life in his step as he saw his plan come to fruition. Biden sacrificed the election to preserve Joe’s Saga. He remains the only person to slay Trump. He did what Hillary and Kamala could only talk about.

The meltdowns are not limited to the politicians. Everyone in the mainstream media, from The View to Morning Joe, is losing their composure and showing the need for hours of couch time ahead. They fail to understand that this was a blowout, a mandate. They failed to recognize the American people spoke and gave Trump a landslide victory with the popular vote, electoral college, the Senate, and possibly the House going Red. This was the Red Wave we have been longing for. How can they all get it so wrong? The people told them the country with Joe Biden at the helm was off course. The Dems did not believe the 70%, but the votes tell the story. […]

Isn’t ‘Not Getting’ Raped or Murdered a “Women’s Rights” Issue? https://redwave.press/isnt-not-getting-raped-or-murdered-a-womens-rights-issue/ https://redwave.press/isnt-not-getting-raped-or-murdered-a-womens-rights-issue/#respond Mon, 04 Nov 2024 09:11:21 +0000 https://redwave.press/isnt-not-getting-raped-or-murdered-a-womens-rights-issue/ Jeff Childer’s Coffee & Covid is a regular read for me, and today, he focused on reports that a majority of early voting was by women. That’s the media spin. There is a gender gap in early voting, and this is a good look for Kamala, probably because they believe that women (especially younger women) will vote for abortion at the expense of all else.

I’m not sure that’s true, but Dems did well in 2020, brushed aside a Red wave in 2022, and dove into 2024 with abortion on the tip of their campaign spear. For all the trouble in the world – caused by the party claiming to defend abortion rights – young women seem inclined to take that bait.

Childers did us the service of a reminder.

Twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray never even got the chance to have her first abortion. In June, she walked into a convenience store in Houston and disappeared. A couple weeks later, she was found dead in a creek.

Houston Police arrested two Venezuelan men who’d recently arrived in the country via Biden’s underground expressway. Both illegals face capital murder charges and are being held on a $10 million bond.

That’s abortion after her 144th month of life, give or take. […]

Why Droves of Americans Walked Away From the Democratic Party https://redwave.press/why-droves-of-americans-walked-away-from-the-democratic-party/ https://redwave.press/why-droves-of-americans-walked-away-from-the-democratic-party/#respond Fri, 01 Nov 2024 20:38:50 +0000 https://redwave.press/why-droves-of-americans-walked-away-from-the-democratic-party/ This populist revolt against America’s two-party corporate domination has been a long time coming. I suppose for many it began when John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King., Jr. and Bobby Kennedy were all assassinated. No one with a brain could really believe the lies used to cover up what the CIA and FBI were capable of, even if Americans couldn’t actually put their fingers on what was awry. I was born in 1963, but I could never swallow the “magic bullet theory,” just as I could never watch a perfectly executed series of controlled demolitions and trust the federal government’s 911 Report. If only the shadowy actors in those smoky back rooms could be identified and held accountable for their crimes against humanity….

Could Democrats be involved in gain-of-function research, provoking war in Ukraine using aggression against Russia and a puppet ruler named Zelenskyy? Could that Party steal an election, deprive Americans of truths and liberties, and back Wall Street and Monsanto to poison and impoverish us? Sure it could! It DID and STILL IS!!

Let’s talk about the Obama-Trump voters, the Sanders-Trump voters, and now the Kennedy-Trump voters. What they all have in common is not Donald Trump – it is that they “woke up” to the lies of the disgusting anti-American cabal of thieving multinational corporations and elitist snobs that has transformed the Democrat Party we all grew up with into a revolting bowel movement now witnessed by the whole world. It is as if only the deluded proles enchanted by the Party’s lies and fear porn (a re-read of Orwell’s books, especially Animal Farm, is past due) remain in its smelly political colon.

Barack Obama promised to rescue Americans from Wall Street and Big Ag – then sold our grandchildren and their future health and wealth out to both. He lives on Martha’s Vineyard now, with his fellow elites, and when he recently scolded black men that they should vote on race instead of the policies that impact their lives, he displayed himself not as a mere Uncle Tom but as a white elitist oppressor with a tan. He is completely out of touch because he never was out for real change. It was subterfuge!

Then comes Bernie Sanders, who pretended to be a populist “for the people” but was treated horribly by the DNC. Hillary was their chosen elite – Bernie was not allowed at the table. Barbie exposed himself as a true blue soy boy when he simpered off like a child with no backbone, and many people left the party because they saw it was anything but democratic. It was nasty and tyrannical. […]

Has the 2024 Election Already Been Corrupted? https://redwave.press/has-the-2024-election-already-been-corrupted/ https://redwave.press/has-the-2024-election-already-been-corrupted/#respond Sun, 27 Oct 2024 15:16:20 +0000 https://redwave.press/has-the-2024-election-already-been-corrupted/ Ah, those pesky election deniers. Despite years of Democrat claims that elections and voting machines were untrustworthy, it has become verboten to question the Holy Grail of US voting systems since the sketchy Biden win. Yet there is nothing holy about election interference – Donald Trump was criminally tried for trumped-up claims that a mischaracterization of a payment (that did not alter his tax liability) constituted “election interference.” But what about Hunter Biden’s laptop and Tony West’s alleged improprieties?

Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid $113,000 to fabricate a “dossier” implicating Donald Trump in Russian collusion, which the piranha propaganda press devoured gleefully and distributed widely:

The Clinton campaign and the DNC paid more than $1 million combined to powerful Democratic law firm Perkins Coie, which engaged Fusion GPS to dig for dirt on Trump. Fusion GPS, in turn, hired former British spy Christopher Steele — whose namesake dossier included allegations that Russian security services possessed a tape of Trump in a Moscow hotel room with prostitutes who were supposedly urinating on a bed where the Obamas had previously stayed.

The FEC said Clinton and the DNC claimed the money given to Perkins Coie to hire Fusion GPS was reported on disclosure forms as having gone toward “legal advice and services” rather than opposition research.

Election interference? Nah…. How dare anyone undermine democracy by spreading such hateful disinformation as saying that Hillary improperly tried to influence an election? (satire)

Had the American public known of the bona fides of Hunter’s laptop, the 2020 election may not have gone to Joe Biden. If Donald Trump’s alleged sortie with Stormy Daniels would have influenced voters, perhaps Hunter’s obscene behaviors – and ties to Ukrainian interests – would have undermined Joe Biden’s credibility. The Forgotten Declaration That Set the Course for Independence https://redwave.press/the-forgotten-declaration-that-set-the-course-for-independence/ https://redwave.press/the-forgotten-declaration-that-set-the-course-for-independence/#respond Sat, 19 Oct 2024 23:56:46 +0000 https://redwave.press/the-forgotten-declaration-that-set-the-course-for-independence/ “To these grievous measures, Americans cannot submit.”

That bold declaration helped spark coordinated resistance across the colonies in 1774. [Oct 14th] marked the 250th anniversary of the Declaration and Resolves of the First Continental Congress, passed unanimously on October 14, 1774.

Almost forgotten today, the Declaration and Resolves were precursors to both the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. They reaffirmed that acts beyond the Constitution are void and must be resisted and nullified.

The first line established that internal taxation, duties, and “unconstitutional powers” stemmed from the broader Declaratory Act of 1766, where Britain claimed power over the colonies “in all cases whatsoever.”

“Whereas, since the close of the last war, the British Parliament, claiming a power of right to bind the people of America, by statute, in all cases whatsoever, hath, in some Acts, expressly imposed taxes on them, and in others, under various pretences, but in fact for the purpose of raising a revenue, hath imposed rates and duties payable in these Colonies, established a Board of Commissioners, with unconstitutional powers, and extended the jurisdiction of Courts of Admiralty, not only for collecting the said duties, but for the trial of causes merely arising within the body of a County” […]

Can We Have an Honest Conversation About Kamala Harris https://redwave.press/can-we-have-an-honest-conversation-about-kamala-harris/ https://redwave.press/can-we-have-an-honest-conversation-about-kamala-harris/#respond Fri, 27 Sep 2024 11:22:43 +0000 https://redwave.press/can-we-have-an-honest-conversation-about-kamala-harris/ There is a lot of talk about what Kamala Harris stands for. There is a lot of talk about Kamala Harris’s policies. There is a lot of talk about what Kamala Harris will do if she can somehow steal this election away from Donald J. Trump. Let’s talk about Kamala Harris and why she has no right to be anywhere near the Resolute Desk and Oval Office.

First, we need to stipulate that Kamala Harris has no right to be the Democrat candidate and no reason to be close to Donald Trump in the polls. Kamala Harris had the lowest approval rating for a Vice President in history. She was unknown to 25% of those polled the day after Biden dropped out of the race. Her ridiculous rise in the polls makes no sense unless you attribute Harris’s popularity to hatred for Trump. I believe the polls are tainted and cannot be trusted. The fact that Donald Trump’s poll numbers are much lower than reality makes the polls useless.

There are two immediate questions that must be answered. First, how do you square the fact that Joe Biden got over 14 million votes in the primaries and Kamala Harris got zero? How is it a viable act of Democracy that you kick Biden to the curb and assume the support of 14 million voters? These people voted for Joe Biden, not Kamala Harris, and how does she slide into the captain’s seat without going through the primary process? And then there is the bonus question. When did you realize that Joe Biden was not capable of performing the duties of the President, and when did you decide that you were the person to take Joe’s place on the ticket?

Kamala Harris is the poster child for the Peter Principle. She is so far over her qualifications, that she is lost in her own skin. The only reason she was elected to the Senate was being a female Democrat from California. The rest is sheer luck and serving a purpose. She has no purpose in the White House. Celebrities and Democrat Party power people are doing a great job, along with the media, in pulling off this scam on America and the American people. […]

Just Voting Isn’t Enough https://redwave.press/just-voting-isnt-enough/ https://redwave.press/just-voting-isnt-enough/#respond Sat, 21 Sep 2024 14:34:38 +0000 https://redwave.press/just-voting-isnt-enough/ Back in the days of “Alderman Jan,” when I was still on FB and Nashua had zero representation in any legislative body, Beth Scaer authored a survey in one of the local groups, either Nashua Politics or Nashua Scoop. It was a multiple-choice question, and it asked something like this:

So you don’t like your elected officials and their antics, what do you do about it?

A) complain

B) vote in every election

C) door knock/phone bank for a candidate

D) donate to the campaign of a candidate

E) run for office

I don’t remember the numbers, like how many people participated and percentage of each answer, but you can probably see where I’m going with this. I voted in every election, every primary, every city election and every special election for decades, then I ran for office, three times, and here we are.

Three weeks before the primary, I tried to rally up the troops with this article, hoping to get some “new help” off the couch. Now that I gave the two candidates, Nurse Terese and Emily Phillips, some time to decompress and start reclaiming their personal lives, post-defeat, I reached out to both of them to follow up. I asked if any new people (meaning people not already on activist groups’ speed dial) emailed them between August 19 and the primary to offer their help. Both of them answered no. […]

How the Federal Government Seeks to Control Our Food Supply https://redwave.press/how-the-federal-government-seeks-to-control-our-food-supply/ https://redwave.press/how-the-federal-government-seeks-to-control-our-food-supply/#respond Sun, 08 Sep 2024 16:03:18 +0000 https://economiccollapse.report/how-the-federal-government-seeks-to-control-our-food-supply/ Food prices are climbing, but soon will soar — inflation is ensured due to recent massive spending. As Americans are pushed to consume artificial meat as a solution to the alleged environmental impact of cow farts, the government seeks to expand its techno-monitoring, in the name of “health and safety,” by requiring the RFID chipping of all livestock. The argument is that animal tracking will protect the public from an animal disease outbreak.

This pretense to control all food production for health and safety is reminiscent of the argument that gain-of-function research used to create the COVID-19 virus was motivated not for bioweapons research but to “prevent a pandemic.” Writer Wendell Berry has been warning for decades that government agencies and academic bigshots conspire to destroy farms in the name of helping them.

The federal government, eagerly helped by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture Food and Markets (VAAFM), seeks to implant microchips in all livestock, beginning with dairy cows. But the pretended purpose of tracking safety is not served by imposing these requirements on small producers and on-farm slaughter operations, the businesses that are most thriving even before COVID, but which are the hardest for the federal government to track.

The threat of disease from farm animals is modest at best — especially in tiny, geographically dispersed, often closed (no animals coming or going) herds. My sheep and beef, for instance, are slaughtered on the very grass on which they dropped to the ground at birth — this is “cradle to grave” technology, long in use in Vermont without compromise to the health and safety of Vermonters. Yet, in the interest of “helping” farms with RFID, the VAAFM recommends imposing some $1,500 start-up costs on them, ignoring the economic burden this presents for existing and new small-farm enterprises. It’s as if the VAAFM wants to hurt them. […]
