NJ Town Bans American Flag From Council Meetings

The Edison Township Council in New Jersey has banned citizens from having American flags, copies of the U.S. Constitution or “other props” at meetings.

A citizen who objected to the new rules was told by council president Nishith Patel that he was in violation ordered police to remove the man from the council chamber.

“To consider the American flag and the Constitution a prop when someone raises it is an insult to what the flag is, what the flag stands for and what this country is,” resident Maryann Hennessey told MyCentralJersey.com. “For you to consider the use of the American flag a prop is disgusting.”

Patel told the Edison Reporter that “any props will be considered not conducive to good order and as the President I am making that call.”

“The American flag is a symbol of our nation and our values,” resident Joel Bassoff told the Edison Reporter. “To suggest that displaying it is disruptive is an insult to everything it stands for.” […]

A number of New York City lawmakers are demanding that Whoopi Goldberg apologize after she defamed a beloved family bakery on ABC’s “The View.”

Goldberg accused Holtermann’s Bakery of refusing to bake birthday treats for her co-hosts on “The View,” citing her far-left political beliefs.

The family-owned bakery has been in business for 145 years and is a local institution.

200,000 Turn Out to Greet Trump, Says Eric Trump

As many as 200,000 people turned out to greet former President Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden. Only 20,000 were allowed inside the famed arena. Tens of thousands piled into streets for blocks surrounding the building.

“Almost 200,000 people tried to get into this event tonight,” Eric Trump said about Madison Square Garden, arguing that shows how much “love” is out there for his dad.

The star-studded lineup included UFC president Dana White, Hulk Hogan and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).

“For more than a century, America’s most celebrated heroes and legends have made history inside this iconic arena. This, where we stand, is where the greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali, faced Joe Frazier in the fight of the century,” Vance said.
