The meeting comes after a series of aviation accidents, including one of the deadliest plane crashes in over a decade. That one occurred last month when an American Airlines passenger plane crashed into a military helicopter, killing all 67 people on board both vessels.

Another plane crash occurred on Monday when a Delta Air Lines jet crashed at the Toronto Pearson airport, and landed upside down. No deaths were reported in the incident, but 18 people were injured.

The reason people are pushing for this is because the eastern part of Oregon is conservative and the folks who live there are tired of having to live under progressive rule from people in the western part of the state and the far left city of Portland.

Now that Musk has landed as the point man for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk Derangement Syndrome has reached epidemic proportions. Rich Lowry put his finger on the symptoms of MDS in a piece for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, writing:

“Democrats are braying for Musk to get arrested at rallies in the street. They’re trying to subpoena him. They want to know if his DOGE team is guilty of breaches of national security. In a letter Monday to IRS Acting Commissioner Douglas O’Donnell the lawmakers wrote that the proposal raises “serious concerns that Elon Musk and his associates are seeking to weaponize government databases containing private bank records and other confidential information to target American citizens and businesses as part of a political agenda.” (source)

Humberto Garcia Rodriguez was sitting in the lobby at a Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Albuquerque, when he witnessed a man walk in and push a woman out of the way to talk to the teller, according to a report by KOB 4.

The man, later identified as John Martin, had just robbed the same bank a month earlier, according to court documents.

Police said Martin mimed a gun at the teller and demanded cash. Meanwhile, Rodriguez decided to take action.

The legislation’s prime sponsor, Republican state Rep. Lehman Franklin, explained that he chose to introduce HB 428 – despite national controversy regarding the ethics of the technology – because he and his wife used it to conceive their own child.

“I have a real personal connection with this bill and with what we’re trying to do here,” Franklin stated. “We wanted to do IVF one last time, and we did it and it worked, and I’m ecstatic to say that now, she’s pregnant with a little girl that’s supposed to be born June 4. Notably, Franklin acknowledged he and his wife attempted three prior rounds of IVF before being able to implant an embryo successfully. The death of multiple embryos in the course of undergoing IVF is generally considered a standard fact of the procedure, whether the embryos die in the process, or are frozen and later destroyed; one study showed that nine embryos is considered the optimal number to create in order to result in a live birth.

OPPOSING TRUMP’S DEPORTATIONS.

Bianco, who has served as sheriff since 2019, has paid lip service in opposition to California’s sanctuary state policies. In a 2023 Fox 11 interview, he stated that he would work around Senate Bill 54, which stymies law enforcement from engaging in deportations. However, on February 7, 2025, Bianco released a video addressing concerns about immigration enforcement, in which he stated that his deputies “have not, are not and will not engage in any type of immigration enforcement.”

He claimed this responsibility lies solely with federal authorities, and criticized what he described as “misinformation” regarding his department’s role in such operations. This statement came as agencies directed by President Trump reported a sharp rise in arrests in California.
