Rumors are spreading across Hollywood that Barbara Broccoli, the steward of the James Bond movie series, wants to make the show a “woke” spectacle. She allegedly wants the next bond to be the exact opposite of Daniel Craig’s and every other version of the titular character.
We’re accustomed to a very masculine, assertive, commanding figure on the big screen to represent 007, but Broccoli has other ideas.
My initial reaction was, “HELL NO!” Of course James Bond shouldn’t be a “they.” He’s the movie personification of what we need more of in America and Europe: Actual men who like women and take on bad guys. A “woke” LGBTQ+ Bond would be an absolute abomination and an insult to everything we’ve grown to love about the character.
And maybe that’s the point. Maybe that’s exactly what we need. As much as I’ve loved the Bond series, I’d be willing to take a break and let Hollywood learn a valuable lesson in why they shouldn’t continue to allow social justice producers to ruin everything. A non-binary Bond movie would bomb. I’m sure of it. And when it does, we’ll be there to tell the out-of-touch Hollywood “progressives” that their version of progress is neither required nor appreciated.
I know what some of you are thinking. We can’t give an inch, so stopping the disgraceful display of LGBTQ+ supremacy in a Bond movie must be achieved at all costs. I hear you, and I normally agree with the idea of never giving them anything. But I can’t see us influencing them in the short term; they’ll either come to their senses or they won’t. One article isn’t going to push them in either direction so the strategic side of my mind tells me if it’s going to happen, we should be ready to pounce when it fails miserably.

Hollywood has been trying for years to replace male characters, especially White male characters, with different woke variations. First, it was women replacing the Ghostbusters, Ocean’s 11, and other mostly-male movies. Now, they’re going down the gender-non-fluid road for some strange reason. They want to ruin everything and they won’t stop until we demonstrate that it just doesn’t work.
Unfortunately, the reverse side of the coin may be true as well. They may take their failures as a sign that they need to keep doubling down like a blackjack loser on the worst streak of his life. We’ve seen it happen with socialism; no matter how many times it is proven untenable, the radical left keeps thinking they just need to do it better next time.
I don’t want to see this timeless franchise debased by wokeness, but if that’s what it takes to make Hollywood’s elites come to their sense, so be it. I’ve spent less and less time at the movies over the last decade. What’s one more franchise temporarily lost?
We are growing sick and tired of all these damn queers trying to shove their degenerate lifestyle on the rest of normal society. These deviants belong in institutions, along with Broccoli.
Been a Bond fan since the Ian Fleming books. Before the first movie. Done with it now. What a shame.

I don’t think Hollywood will ever learn the lesson. There already have been numerous box office failures, and yet they continue to pump out useless garbage, Better yet, let them go out of business and be replaced by an entire different set of producers and production companies who get it. Sadly, that would take a very long time. So, I for one, a long time Bond fan, will just not spend my money on their dribble.

Been a fan of Bond since the 60s. The franchise ended with Skyfall for me. So whatever they did and will do is just bad fan fiction on film Nothing more.
They (holly-weird) almost ruined ghostbusters doing this same sort of silliness in that bomb of a third movie, then the real ghostbusters came back and pulled it out of the toilet with afterlife…great end to a fantastic franchise.

Don’t support this garbage. I think there are 25 Bond movies (27 counting the original Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again) so why do we need any more? When the woke version hits theaters, ignore it and watch one of the classics. That’s what people are doing with Spielberg’s pathetic “remake” of West side Story. Let the current crop of Hollywood Hate Mongers die off in obscurity and new, sensible, creative ones will take their place.

At least “On her Majesty’s secret service”, will no longer be the dog of the series, with “Never say never again” running neck to neck. They would not dare make Bond a transsexual, the audience would become licensed killers. So they will make the hit “they” the assassins like the gay couple that killed everyone in “Diamonds are forever”. So all the alphabet crowd will be offended! What would truly be offending would be to see the Bond girls to be of questionable gender.
