Border Czar Tom Homan on Thursday confirmed that a planned Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in Aurora, Colo., had been leaked to members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.
“We’ve already identified how this operation got leaked. I’ll deal with that today,” he told Fox News.
Homan also hinted that ICE may begin to arrest individuals who impede ICE operations and indicated he was working “very close” with the DOJ only legal guidance for doing so.
“This is not a game. This a dangerous job,” he said. “To have this top of interference puts the officers at great risk.”Tren de Aragua has become a prominent criminal group in recent years and attracted notoriety over its takeover of apartment buildings in the Colorado city during the 2024 presidential election.
