Jack Posobiec released his Human Events Daily Strategy Session special episode with Darren Beattie on Friday, during which the duo talked in length about the “ceiling” China has hit when it comes to its global appeal.
Beattie said that “nobody is really enchanted by simple pragmatism” which China has adopted over the last few decades. And while it has allowed the citizens of China to feel taken care of without knowing their true liberties, it has prevented their country “from achieving that kind of level of global influence that the West has been able to attain.”
Posobiec agreed, adding, “We are not China. We are America. Our culture is different, our demographics are different. Our people are different, our history is different. I don’t believe that we have that same kind of ceiling, and if we can get pragmatically the way to forward, I’m just going to say the easiest way to put it is, take a look at what Elon Musk is doing. Look at what he is promoting. You don’t have to agree with every single thing he says, but the way he thinks of advancement and true progress, I feel, offers a true way ahead for so many of us on these issues.” […]
