Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the vice presidential candidate for the Democrat party, made at least 30 trips to China, many while he was a member of his state’s National Guard, said Rep. Pete Stauber, R-Minnesota.
Stauber noted that James Comer, R-Kentucky, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair, has subpoenaed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to find out what his agency knows about alleged connections between Walz and the Chinese Communist Party.
“Comer may be on to something in his oversight committee, so it’s going to be wait-and-see,” Stauber said. “I’m sure that James Comer has information that he wants to share with the intelligence community and the American people involving Tim Walz.”
Stauber’s remarks were part of a wide-ranging discussion on Monday’s edition of the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show, where he disparaged numerous policies that the congressman said has made Walz “very unpopular” in Minnesota. […]
