Several notable Democrats are now speaking out against transgender participation in women’s sports.
This sudden about-face has been criticized by LGBT activists and being lauded by conservative groups who are urging more Democrats to fight against the encroachment of transgenderism in society.
One of the most prominent Democrats to come out in opposition to transgenderism is U.S. Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY), who said in an interview with the New York Times that Democrats are moving too far left.
“The Democrats have to stop pandering to the far left,” Suozzi said. “I don’t want to discriminate against anybody, but I don’t think biological boys should be playing in girls’ sports.” (Related: Democratic Sen.
