Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk endorsed Arizona Republican Rep. Eli Crane’s effort to impeach U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer, the federal judge who blocked the Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records.
“Impeach!” Musk wrote on X. “Needs to be done.”
As Just the News previously reported, Engelmayer had issued a temporary restraining order against the Trump administration earlier this month that stopped DOGE from fully accessing Treasury Department records and payment systems.
The lawsuit was brought forby by 19 Democratic state attorneys general who argued DOGE trying to access the records violated the law.
“Activist judges cannot stop the President from executing his Article II powers,” Crane said in reference to his resolution. “White House employees have every right to access the very systems they oversee. President Trump campaigned on rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal government, and the American people gave him a mandate to do so. […]
