Pete Buttigieg, of Joe Biden’s most incompetent Cabinet members (and that’s saying a lot), is reportedly weighing a run for Michigan governor in 2026, according to Detroit News.
The Indiana native was rewarded a position as Biden’s Transportation Secretary after he dropped out of the 2020 primary race to make room for old Joe.
Buttigieg previously served as a mayor for South Bend, a small Indiana town.
Pete Buttigieg told the Associated Press that he moved to Michigan to be closer to his partner’s family.
“I grew up a few miles from the state line, so even growing up I was getting the news from Michigan and from both sides of the state line. And I could point to any number of moments over the years, some wonderful and some really tough, like when our little guy was in the intensive care in Grand Rapids.” […]
