Texas Governor Greg Abbott was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo and discussed President Trump’s success with his border policies.
“Have you seen a change? Tell us what has happened since President Trump was sworn in as our 47th President,” Bartiromo asked.
“I don’t think there has ever been a more sudden, and swift change in any government operation than under President Trump when he the oath of took office. I would say overnight but on the first hour of his tenure as President. We saw the change where there were military sent to the border. The military were blocking people from crossing the border illegally,” Abbott said.
Governor Abbott also explained that Texas now has support from the US Government and is able to help them with operations too.
“To show how Texas is a partner in all this process, on the hour that President Trump took office, Texas was deploying more buoys in the Rio Grande to deter and deny illegal entry into the country,” Abbott said. […]
