A PAC behind a negative text message campaign against David Cook, a candidate for Speaker of the Texas House, appears to be fraudulent.
“Liberal David Cook wants to be Speaker of the Texas House. But Cook: Voted to IMPEACH AG Ken Paxton” the text message from the PAC called Texans for Conservative Leadership (TLC) reads.
“Voted AGAINST ending tax incentives for companies that fund out-of-state abortions & gender modification surgeries on children,” the text message reads found within a Facebook post shared by State Rep.-elect David Lowe.
“The race for Speaker just got incredibly nasty with ‘someone’ sending out texts pretending to be an organization they’re not affiliated with. The URL in the text was registered on November 13th,” Lowe posted on Facebook.
