Candace Bushnell, 63, is best known for penning the book that would eventually inspire one of the most popular shows on HBO. While two out of the four main characters on the series become moms, that’s not a path the former sex columnist chose for herself.
In 2019, Bushnell expressed regret over her decision to forgo motherhood, especially after divorcing her husband Charles Askegard in 2012.
